Welcome to Be Well Kentucky. We have therapists at physical locations in Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky, and provide virtual services to the state of Kentucky and beyond. Our talented and caring therapists provide psychotherapy, medication management, and dietetic support to help people facing eating disorders, OCD, anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. At Be Well Kentucky, we help people move past their difficulties to begin enjoying life and regain hope for the future.

What We Offer

Individual Therapy

We specialize in treating eating disorders; OCD; anxiety, mood, and trauma disorders, but can help with many other concerns as well.

Intensive Programs

Intensive treatment for OCD, phobias, and eating disorders can be scheduled with us! These programs can be for those not responding to weekly therapy, or for those looking for a more concentrated treatment as it includes 2-3 hours of therapy per day.

Nutrition Therapy

We offer a variety of nutrition support provided by Registered Dietitians who can help with food allergies/intolerances, Diabetes, Celiac, improving your relationship with food, picky eating, disordered eating and more!

Medication Management

Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive evaluations to determine if medication can potentially improve functioning in daily life, and/or support your ability to participate and benefit from therapy.

Support Groups

Through support groups, clients learn and recover together. Groups offered change based on patient and provider requests, so call today or click to find our most up-to-date offerings!

Psychological Assessment

Our Lexington location can provide diagnostic and treatment clarity from psychological assessments to assess for ADHD, specific learning disabilities, Autism, and other concerns.

Online Therapy

Our team of providers understand that in-person services are not always an option, or not preferred, so we offer online therapy services to the state of Kentucky and beyond! Many of our clinicians are licensed through The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT®), allowing them to provide virtual services for the participating states.

Practicum Training

We offer training for those in school to become therapists as either practicum students or post doctoral fellows.

Professional Trainings, Team Talks, and Presentations

Our professionals provide outreach educational presentations for a wide array of settings (i.e. schools, athletic teams, hospitals, workplaces, conferences etc.). We are able to provide information on one of our specialities upon request!

Clinical Director - Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Gibson is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in treating teens and young adults.  She is Associate Director of Be Well Kentucky, overseeing the student training program.

Clinic Founder - Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Levinson is a licensed psychologist, health service provider, and clinical supervisor at Be Well Kentucky.  She founded Be Well Kentucky with the goal of expanding access to care in Kentucky.

Registered Dietitian

Becky is a Registered Dietitian at Be Well Kentucky who is dedicated to providing evidence-based personalized dietetic care.

Our therapists are specialists. We regularly see and treat anxiety or panic related disorders including but not limited to Eating Disorders including Anorexia, Bulimia, ARFID, OSFED, Binge Eating Disorder, and PICA, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder including POCD, Scrupulosity, Harm OCD, SO-OCD, Relationship OCD and Pure O, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Excoriation, Phobias, and plenty more. We specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Exposure/Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). We work with clients of all ages and also see those with depression, Generalized Anxiety, and ADHD.

The treatments we use have been shown to quickly reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.

All payments are due at time of service and we do not offer payment plans. Often initial consults are $25 more than the hourly rate. This is due to out of session time spent consulting with other providers. Below are pricing ranges for our therapists:

Our specialized services are private pay, but we try our best to limit this financial barrier by…

  • Offering help with insurance reimbursement through a free smart phone app called reimbursify. This app allows filing claims take less than 2 minutes! 
  • Accepting FSA and HSA cards
  • Offering income-based reduced fee. We use federal poverty guidelines, household size and household income to determine appropriateness.
