Telehealth Across State Lines

Several Be Well Kentucky psychologists are authorized through PSYPACT to provide telehealth to clients living in participating states outside Kentucky.

Do you see patients outside of Kentucky?

Yes. We have providers that are licensed in multiple states and have authority to practice interjurisdictional telepsychology through PSYPACT. These clinicians can provide telehealth to individuals living in any of the PSYPACT states.

Which of your clinicians can practice across state lines?

The following clinicians hold authority to practice interjurisdictional telepsychology through PSYPACT: Dr. Melissa Gibson, Dr. Cheri Levinson, Dr. Hayley Meadows, Dr. Brenna Epifano, Dr. Casey Allen and Dr. Irina Vanzhula.

PSYPACT is a compact for licensed psychologists. Clinicians who hold other credentials, including nurse practitioners, licensed professional clinical counselors, clinical social workers and registered dietitians, are governed by different rules for practising across state lines. The list above is therefore not the whole team, and it is not a statement about anyone else’s licensure.

Which states are covered?

The participating states are listed and maintained by PSYPACT rather than by us, and the list changes as states join. See the current list of participating states.

What do I need for a virtual session?

Virtual therapy is provided over a HIPAA compliant Zoom connection. You will need an internet enabled device with video and audio capabilities, internet connection, and a private space where you are comfortable having sessions with your provider.
