What Will the Assessment Process Look Like?
1. Scheduling and Forms
After calling our intake coordinator (502-908-9410), you will receive email links to complete secure online forms. Only a one-hour consult/clinical interview is scheduled upfront for adults.
2. Clinical Interview
Interviews are conducted virtually or in person. You will meet one-on-one with a licensed Ph.D. or Psy.D. psychologist for a detailed clinical interview. This includes your developmental, academic, work, and emotional history. Your provider will help you determine whether an assessment is needed based on your goals. If so, your clinician will explain the plan for scheduling and payment.
3. Assessment Testing
Testing takes 5–6 hours total with your clinician, typically split into two sessions to support focus. Testing is conducted in person at our Lexington office: 2201 Regency Rd, Suite 703, Lexington, KY 40503.
4. Report Scoring and Writing
Your clinician will spend 2-3 weeks compiling all information into a comprehensive report. Note: all steps must be completed before report writing begins.
5. Feedback Session and Results
Once the report is ready, we’ll schedule a feedback meeting (virtual or in person). Your psychologist will review diagnoses, strengths, and personalized recommendations. Copies will be provided to you and, if requested, your employer or school.
What Does Our ADHD/SLD Assessment Package Include?
Every adult assessment includes:
- Clinical interview exploring developmental and functional history
- Review of prior records
- IQ assessment (WAIS-IV)
- Academic achievement testing (WJ-V) if appropriate
- ADHD symptom report scales (BAARS-IV)
- Validity measures and additional psychopathology screeners
- Informant input (from partner, friends, or family)

How Much Does the Assessment Cost?
- Total Cost: $2,250 for adult evaluations.
- Initial Consultation Fee: $180–$205 (based on provider) is billed upfront.
- Balance: If a full assessment is recommended, the consultation fee is applied toward the total cost. The remaining balance ($2,045–$2,070) is due at the time of scheduling testing sessions.
- Informed Decision Making: If an assessment is not recommended, you only pay for the consultation—there is no further obligation.
